P.E At St Kents

It was a lovely Friday morning, Ruapotaka senior syndicate went to St Kents for P.E and some of us came early, then Mrs Golder chose Sini, Miria, Cypress and I to go in the van to St Kents. When we arrived at St Kents we hopped off the van with glee and walked as proud as we could to the sport centre. When we got there the St Kents sports teacher put us in to two groups and then we played a bit of basketball. A while later, the other classes from Ruapotaka School came and sadly we had to stop our game with the coach.

Then we were put in to our groups by Miss Ginders and I was in group two with Mrs Golder but she left us and went and took photos of the wrong group. She realized that she was taking photos of a different group so she went finding her group. She finally found her group and started taking photos. Our sports teacher was a boy and he taught us some simple and easy drills to do and to warm us up before moving on to the next step.

After that, our tutor said that we could have a touch game against the other team so he took us to the other field then we played against each other. It was hard to run as fast as a cheetah to get a try because they had more people than us but the only good thing is we got a try. ‘’Yay we tried to get a score.’’ Both team had the same score so there was no group that won or lost.

Soon we packed up and went as a group back into the sports centre and waited for the other groups to arrive so we can head back to school.

While we were waiting, we watched and laughed at a boy run and dunk the ball into the basketball hoop. It was awesome. We all had joyful time there. We all stood up and went out the St Kents door and back on the bus. The others went except for the people who got chosen to go in the van. While we were on our way to school we were listening to some music.
